In an interview for Dnevnik 2 on RTS, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, referring to the election campaign for the Kosovo parliamentary elections, stated that the pre-election spot of Serb List was banned on the appeal of “big BIRN”, for incitement to hatred. After that, Slobodan Georgiev, editor of the Belgrade BIRN, which has nothing to do with the ban, received a number of messages via Twitter, such as “you should be expelled”, “Haradinaj’s Serb”, “go to Albania”… Georgiev for Cenzolovku said: “The application was submitted to the Kosovo Election Commission by BIRN Kosovo,” which was not emphasized in the president’s interview, and repeating that he is an editor at BIRN Serbia.
