Vijesti journalist Jadranka Cetkovic was attacked in front of the building of the Higher and Basic Court in Bijelo Polje while she was on duty. She received an task to report about court decision for rapping. The incident occurred just before the verdict was pronounced when one of the men present ran to her while filming the space in front of the court. As Cetkovic said, he shouted at her and briefly grabbed her phone, interrupting the recording.

The state prosecutor of the Basic State Prosecutor’s Office in Bijelo Polje ordered the detention of the suspect A.Z. for up to 72 hours due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that he committed the criminal offense of coercion to the detriment of journalist Cetkovic.

The court proceedings began in November before the Basic Court in Bijelo Polje.
