On July 22, KRIK published parts of the testimony of Veljko Belivuk, the head of a criminal group suspected of several brutal executions, on its website, where it says that he denied being a murderer at a prosecutor’s hearing two weeks ago, but spoke about his alleged connections with Serbian President Aleksandar and other people from the head of the government. He also talked about his alleged jobs that he had to do for them, and about the meeting with the President of Serbia. After almost 24 hours, the front pages appeared in which the whole story was spinned and KRIK itself was connected with criminal groups. On the other hand, on the same day that the article was published, an atmosphere was created on national frequency televisions in which KRIK was disqualified as a mediaand connected directly with Belivuk and his criminal organization.
