SJ has taken note of the arbitrary decisions made by Albanian Radio Television (RTSH) regarding employees of the Information Department. Recently, acting director Aurora Polo dismissed Olsjan Laskaj, the RTSH1 news editor, in clear violation of the RTSH Statute and the Labor Code, offering no justification for the decision. This unwarranted dismissal has caused significant moral and financial harm.

With the selection process for the new director of Public Radio Television now complete and the Board of Directors preparing to appoint the General Director, it is crucial that RTSH management complies with legal standards and refrains from any violations or unjust actions during this transitional period leading to the appointment of the new leadership.
