The main Imam of the Majlis of the Islamic Community of Brčko Mustaga ef. Gabeljić attacked the journalist of the Federal Television (FTV) Suada Mujdanović, after she published a thematic report about the dissatisfaction of believers – Muslims with the increase of the annual membership fee paid by the members – Muslims to the Islamic Community. In addition to verbal insults on social networks, the Majlis of the Islamic Community of Brčko reacted with a statement in which it questions the intentions of FTV to problematize topics related to Muslim believers.
The BHJA Steering Committee responded with a statement and warned the Islamic Community in Brčko that journalists have the right to problematize all topics, including the decisions and behavior of religious organizations and institutions that concern citizens.
