Edmonda Avdija – journalist at Syri Television in Gjakovë, has informed the Association of Journalists of Kosovo that she has been threatened.

Avdija has informed AJK that an individual with the initials B.A used threatening language towards her while she was in the village of Meje in the Municipality of Gjakova.

“Don’t you dare to set foot in the village of Devë anymore, because I will ruin your face and legs,” said B.A, describing to the journalist an article she had published about the expropriations in the region for the construction of the Kosovo Security Forces training site.

AJK is concerned with this threat towards the journalist of TV Syri and calls upon the competent authorities to solve the case as soon as possible.
