Journalist Dušan Čavić, who hosts the author’s show “Gum brand”, was fiercely targeted in a video published on the page “Did you know” on the social network Facebook under the title: “Who is Dušan Čavić (MARKA ŽVAKA)?” , who attacks Aleksandar Šapić?”. The video was published shortly after the incident and the insults that the mayor of Belgrade, Aleksandar Šapić, directed at Dušan Čavić as an activist because of the question.

In this case, although the video does not directly refer to Čavić’s journalistic work, it is clearly stated and stated that it is about Čavić as a journalist of the author’s show Marka žuvak, and is targeted as a recognized journalist. In the video, untruths and serious accusations of connection with fascist movements are presented, most likely in an attempt to discredit Čavić. This way of targeting and accusing in practice often results in further threats and attacks on journalists. This is more than a clear case of deliberate discrediting and targeting of journalists. There is no information indicating whether the site that published the video is the author, and the case has not yet been published.
