The cameraman section of the Association of Journalists of Macedonia (AJM) reacts to the way how was organized today’s media event by the Association of Chambers of Commerce in a restaurant in Skopje.
Many cameramen but also photoreporters and journalists did not have the conditions to do their job professionally due to the inadequate space that was given by the organizer. At the same time, the MCC, according to the present cameramen, did not comply with the protocols for physical distance and more cameramen were placed in a small space, which put their health and safety at risk.
The members cameramen section of the AJM ask the organizers of the events for the media in future to provide appropriate conditions for their work and to strictly follow the health protocols provided for public events. If this is not respected, the cameramen will not follow these events and AJM will file appropriate legal proceedings against the organizers.
