BELGRADE, July 8, 2020 – During the protest in front of the National Assembly on the evening of July 8, in a police action against the protesters, journalist Milica Bozinovic, who was filming the events, was hit by a member of the police with a truncheon which caused her phone to fall out of her hands to the ground. Milica received a blow despite the fact that she introduced herself as a journalist and tried to identify herself. In an attempt to explain to the police that she was a journalist and to obtain an answer why they did it, the members of the Ministry of the Interior rudely reprimanded the journalist and continued the action.
