The director of the Center for Investigative Journalism of Montenegro, Milka Tadic-Mijovic, was verbally attacked tonight, around 8 pm, in the parking lot near the “Voli” megamarket in Petrovac.
Due to insults and numerous threats, the Budva police arrested the security-interesting person of Boško Filipović (56) in less than half an hour.
The basic state prosecutor in Kotor, Andja Radovanovic, stated that elements of the criminal offense of “endangering security” from Article 168 of the Criminal Code of Montenegro (CCCG) are acquired in Filipovic’s actions.
Tadic-Mijovic told “Vijesti” that the verbal attack took place in the parking lot without any reason.
“The man started saying that I had allegedly parked incorrectly. After that, when he saw who it was, he started swearing and threatening to puncture all four of my tires, threatening Vijesti reporters and repeating that I and my colleagues did all sorts of things. We were shouting and saying that I was writing all sorts of things for the “scammers” without proof, that the journalists were lying and that we were writing against Milo (Djukanovic) without proof. The threats and shouting lasted for 7-8 minutes”, Tadic-Mijovic told Vijesti.
10/6/2021 In the Basic Court in Kotor, Filipovic was sentenced to three months in prison for endangering the safety of Milka Tadic Mijovic.
