Journalists of portal Južni vesti received following threats: “I sincerely wish the entire editorial staff of Južni vesti the savage rape of their children by migrants until they die” and this is one of several messages sent to journalists from the same IP address in the comments in Južne vesti article about a security worker of the company in Niš who warned than shot at a group of young men and wounded one.
In one of the following messages, it is also written: “You see, son, because the owner, editor and employees of JV suck the same European house as Vučić sucks, they are only for another pharaon, not for Vucko (meaning on president Vučić), but in fact the same anti Serbian shit that needs to be hung on a Christmas tree to decorate”.
Journalists reported the threats to the Ministry of the Interior and the Public Prosecutor’s Office, and the act was qualified as endangering the safety of journalists. According to the journalists, the Ministry of the Interior and the Prosecutor’s Office reacted quickly in examining all the circumstances of the case. Case is still on going.
