The editor of “Oslobođenje” Vildana Selimbegović wrote an author’s column entitled “Schmidt’s half of the package”, in which she expressed her views on the amendments to the Election Law of Bosnia and Herzegovina, including changes to the method of electing delegates to the House of Peoples of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The column was also published by the Istraga portal, after which Selimbegović received threats with the following content: “You profascist collaborator whore. If he (Schmidt) forces it (amendments to the Election Law), you will look into the pit”.
The threatening message was deleted after the editor-in-chief of Istraga reported it to Twitter.
Case status: On-going; The case was reported to the Canton Sarajevo Police.
