SJ: Izjava podrške Ukrajini i ukrajinskim novinarima/kama

“Mi, predstavnici i članovi niže potpisanih organizacija, solidarni smo s narodom Ukrajine, a posebno s ukrajinskim novinarima koji se sada nalaze na prvim crtama europskog rata velikih razmjera.

Jednostrano osuđujemo nasilje i agresiju koja tisuće naših kolega diljem Ukrajine dovodi u životnu opasnost.

Pozivamo međunarodnu zajednicu da pruži svaku moguću pomoć onima koji preuzimaju hrabru ulogu izvještavanja iz Ukrajine, koja je sada ratna zona.

Osuđujemo fizičko nasilje, kibernetičke napade, širenje dezinformacija i sva druga oružja koja agresor koristi protiv slobodnog i demokratskog ukrajinskog tiska.

Također, izražavamo solidarnost s neovisnim ruskim medijima, koji nastavljaju s istinitim izvještavanjem u uvjetima bez presedana.
