The electoral meeting of the mayor of Tirana Erion Veliaj in Kavajë turned into an incident against the Ora News television crew and journalist Ronaldo Sharka. In an interview in the Ora News studio, journalist Ronaldo Sharka said: “I was with a microphone, with a media logo, easily identifiable, and I addressed Mr. Veliaj, for questions in the interest of public opinion, but the situation was very serious and that’s when I realized that something was wrong.

It wasn’t Veliaj’s bodyguards, the municipal bodyguards who protect him from the media, but there were people I had never met. About forty of them that pushed the entire media crew.”

Mr. Ronaldo Sharka has now reported to the local police, for this there is no reaction from the mayor of the municipality. At the beginning of this week, the journalist Isa Myzyraj of the same television was physically detained while questioned the Mayor by the security guards of the Mayor of Tirana.
