Moderators and journalists Jeta Xharra – Jeta në Kosovë, Xhemajl Rexha – Kohavizion and Fidan Jupolli – Television 7, have been publicly lynched through social networks.
Through a page on the social network FACEBOOK, mentioned journalists have been described as mercenaries of one of the political parties in the country, namely Levizja Vetevendosje. The case is linked with recent political developments in Kosovo, where the government did not survive a no-confidence motion in parliament. The object of this attack was also the opinionist Rron Gjinovci.
AJK described this as one of the acts which seriously violate the freedom of expression and endanger the climate of journalism in Kosovo.
