On March 8, the newspaper Danas published on the Internet an article by Miljko Stojanović “A Ukrainian from Lviv who came to Serbia: I don’t want to kill people.” After the publication, Stojanović received numerous threats and insults on Facebook. One comment says that if he doesn’t delete the text, “the police can just come and list it.” The same comment states: “I’m not complaining, it’s solved in another way, I’m not forgetting this. I will meet him sometime and then let him pray that I don’t mutilate him”. The journalist says he wrote the confession of a man who fled Ukraine, which was published on local online news. Stojanović stated: “Several hours after that, offensive comments appeared where the man was labeled as a Nazi, an Azov, terrible derogatory things about Ukrainians, various pictures and videos of alleged crimes of the Ukrainian army with swastikas.” I took some screenshots and posted them on my Facebook page, and then threats came from several profiles. One of them was literally my neighbor, who lives 50 meters from my home. That person was detained for 48 hours, after which he was released and is now under a restraining order.”
