Serbian List published a press release in which it called out the KoSSev portal for “disinformation about the arrival of a bus from central Serbia with citizens who are supposed to participate in the protests.” The announcement states: “Falsehoods that tend to be spread can have dangerous consequences and serve as an alibi and a reason for the use of violence against our bare-handed people who express their protest in a peaceful, democratic way due to the trampling of basic rights.” The statement concludes: “We call on citizens to remain restrained and not fall for the provocations and lies that are being spread at this sensitive moment.” The editor of the KoSSev portal, Tatjane Lazarevic, said: “It is untrue that we published disinformation. Our news clearly states: Right before the start of the protest, at least ten buses with license plates RKS, KM, ČA and BG arrived from the direction of Zvečani on the way to Kosovska Mitrovica. Each bus was marked with a serial number. The largest ordinal number we have seen is 30. Readers of our portal have confirmed this. The same news is still available, and therefore I invite the public and politicians to compare the information in the announcement and on our portal.
