Ivana Milosavljević, a journalist from the Center for Investigative Journalism from Belgrade, was tried to download her profile on the Instagram social network on Thursday. The journalist received several messages containing data and parameters for changing the Instagram account. Yesterday’s attempts were not the first, as the journalist suffered a similar attack on Thursday of the previous week.
Given that the journalist was very active with investigative stories in the previous period, we suspect that this is a deliberate attack on her profiles. That is why the attempted attacks were reported to the Special Prosecutor’s Office for High-Tech Crime as attacks on a journalist because of her work.
