- Police actionInvestigators from the Brčko Police District responded quickly, went to the scene of the incident, and detained three people suspected of being the perpetrators of the attack. After the interrogation, the suspects were released home. The police submitted a report on the committed criminal offense of causing minor bodily harm and damage to other people's property to the Brčko District Prosecutor's Office, which will decide on further action.

Physical attack on journalist Renata Radić-Dragić and cameraman Dženet Dreković from the Sarajevo Center for Investigative Journalism – CIN happened on 27.02. in Brčko in front of the “Bogičević” shopping center. The CIN-a team recorded materials for a research story about Zoran Kokanović, a politician and member of the National Assembly of the RS. Three people were investigators from the trafficking center and tried to prevent the filming. During the attack, cameraman Dženet Dreković suffered minor physical injuries, and journalist Renata Radić-Drgić was sent for further medical tests due to stress.
The investigators of the police and the prosecutor’s office in Brčko responded effectively and took the measures prescribed by law to investigate and sanction the perpetrators of this incident.
BHJA publicly condemned the attack and supported the CIN team. The SafeJournalists network also responded with a press release.
