The singer Jelena Karleusa posted messages on the social media platform X that constitute calls for violence—first against the protesting students, and then against the television station N1—thereby directly endangering the safety of the station’s employees. In response to the student protests, she wrote: “VUCIC, SEND IN THE COBRAS TO PLAY WITH THEM! PLEASE!!!!”. After N1 reported on her statement, Karleusa replied: “What you’ve sown—sick hatred and lies—you’ve sown. The Serbian people will not forgive you.” I state publicly: JELENA KARLEUSA IS INCITING VIOLENCE AGAINST N1 EMPLOYEES”.
