An elderly man attacked N1 journalist Sanja Kosović in front of the provincial assembly in Novi Sad, hitting her microphone twice. The incident happened during a student protest on 17.12.2024. in Novi Sad.

Before the incident itself, the journalist asked him why he previously pushed away a woman who had fallen, to which he told her, “Get out of the way.”

Several students tried to calm him down, but he angrily said “let me pass” and walked away. Eyewitnesses’ assumption is that the citizen was angry because the route he was traveling on was jammed with students.

The case was not reported to the police.
