Insajder TV journalist Stefan Miljus physically attacked during professional assignment at Nikola Pašić Square in Belgrade

Insajder television journalist Stefan Miljus was physically attacked while on assignment near Nikola Pasic Square in Belgrade. During his reporting in the area, Miljus was physically assaulted by an unidentified man who struck his arm twice, attempting to knock the phone out of his hand. Miljus had earlier used the phone to record an incident involving veterans passing through the area.

After he began sending the footage to the newsroom, he noticed that someone was recording him. When he asked the person why he was filming him, the man initially tried to walk away, but then told the Insajder reporter that he should “run away.” When Miljus asked whether that was a threat, the man turned around and hit him twice on the arm.

Shortly after, a second man approached. When Miljus stated that he was just doing his job, the second individual told him to “do it somewhere else” and to record himself instead of them.
