Ensar Ramadani a journalist of IndeksOnline platform, has been physically attacked by the Minister of Trade and Industry, Endrit Shala.
The incident took place at the University Clinical Center of Kosovo, where the journalist was reporting about the health condition of Luan Maloku, an officer of NISMA Social Democratic Party, who was gun injured a few hours ago in Pristina.
Minister Shala has requested the phone from the journalist, who refused to give it. After refusing, Endrit Shala punched journalist Ensar Ramadani in the face.
The Association of Journalists of Kosovo contacted IndeksOnline Platform and the Kosovo Police, which was interviewing the journalist about the incident. By contacting journalist Ensar Ramadani, the AJK was informed that the prosecutor had authorized Kosovo Police to investigate the case.
Based on later information form the media, the State Prosecutor interviewed Minister Shala. Through a press release, the Police Inspectorate also recommended the suspension of two Police Officers who were present but did not intervene.
