N1 reporter Mladen Savatović was physically attacked during the coverage of the protest in the center of Belgrade, in the evening of 25/12/2023. year.

The TV N1 team was waiting for the last live connection, when the students left on November 29, where they were between the RIK building and the Presidency, when a man of about 35, 40 years of age came and started saying something incomprehensible. Savatović asked him what he needed, but he answered something related to N1 BiH, to which the journalist replied that he was not from N1 BiH.

The man did not stop trying and started to get in the journalist’s face, to threaten him, in the process he grabbed his right hand, and thus a little way. He was leaving and coming back to swing his arm at the crab and try to hit the journalist.

The case was initiated at the request of Savatović, after which a police patrol came to the field and made an official note, and he was told that he still had to officially report the assault. The report was made at the relevant police station the next day.

Latest information from 28/12/2023. year, they say that the person suspected of the attack has been brought in and kept in custody by order of the public prosecutor.
