On the evening of June 23, around 11 p.m., cameraman Osman Mehanović was physically attacked in Bratunac. Three unknown persons intercepted him at the bus stop, attacked him, beat him and caused him serious physical injuries. Mehnović is a Bosniak by nationality, after the war he returned to his home in Bratunca, a city with a majority Serbian population. The motives of the attack are not known.

The BH Journalists Assciation ´s Sttering Committee issued a statement and expressed concern about the violence against this media worker. The FMHL lawyer sent a report to the Bratunac Police Department and to the higher police instance in Bijeljina.
