Saša Dragojlo, the journalist of the Balkan Investigative Reporting Network (BIRN), was physical attack in the Boulevard of King Aleksandar near Đeram Market in Belgrade. According to available information, recordings and the testimony of Saša Dragojlo, the attack on the journalist while he was performing his duty was carried out by an activist of the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS). After the journalist identified himself, the attacker became even more aggressive. The police officers, although present at the scene, reacted inadequately, did not identify or detain the attacker, despite the fact that journalist Dragojlo presented them with his journalist’s identification.
