Today, a series of alarming photomontages have been circulating on social media, portraying Kosovar journalists with fabricated messages alongside logos of reputable Kosovar media outlets.

Journalists targeted in these malicious montages include Vehbi Kajtazi, Valon Syla, Berat Buzhala, and others. In particular, the logo of the independent Serbian media outlet Kossev from Northern Mitrovica is being falsely utilized. The fabricated news links are associated with media outlets such as Zeri, Telegrafi, and Kosova Sot.

AJK views this campaign as extremely dangerous for journalists and the media. We call upon the Kosovo Police Cyber Unit to urgently investigate the origin of such posts and prevent their further publication.
