Journalist and director of RTV Dukagjini, Ermal Panduri has been threatened online by several people on social networks.

Panduri has announced that he was threatened with his life by various people on social networks. He made this known through a post on Facebook.

“This man is threatening me with my life, he is insulting my whole family!”, wrote Panduri.

The threats and insults that Panduri has recieved are unacceptable for AJK. Therefore, we call on the competent authorities to deal with this case as soon as possible so that the intimidators are brought to justice.

AJK calls on our colleagues to report cases of threats to the Kosovo Police.

UPDATES:

On 06.01.2021, the Kosovar male suspect appeared before the police after he had threatened a journalist through social networks in September 2020. Regarding the case, the state prosecutor was consulted, by whose decision the suspect is taken into custody after the interview.
