At the press conference held in Banja Luka on March 12, the president of the Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, verbally attacked woman journalist from the Center for Investigative Journalism (CIN), Milena Mitrović. The journalist asked Milorad Dodik about his plans in case the BiH Prosecutors Office issues a warrant against him, considering that he ignored an invitation from this institution to give a statement. Dodik characterized her question as “politically instructed”, and called her “a supporter” and “impatient”, and as “a person who does not know legal procedures about international warrants.”
BHJA and SJN reported that 9 media outlets and 8 journalists from Banja Luka faced threats and attacks by Milorad Dodik and other RS officials at the end of February and beginning of March 2025.
