The director of the municipal healthcare center in Velika Kladuša, Evresa Okanović, threatened over the phone to the editor of online magazine Inforadar, Adis Šušnjar, for publishing a series of investigative articles on abuse of public funds in this medical institution. Director Okanović accused the editor of Inforadar for damaging her, asked who is responsible for the articles, etc. She was especially irritated by the fact that the Prosecution of the Unsko-sanski Canton has opened an investigation for this case and told to Šušnjar that “she will know how to reach justice once the case is over.”

This incident is one of the examples of intimidation of media in order for them to stop investigating the topic of spending of the funds in the municipal healthcare center in Velika Kladuša.
