The chairman of the Sarajevo Canton Assembly, Elvedin Okreći, did not verbally attack Avda Avdić, the editor of the Istraga portal, after this portal published a investigative article on the spending of public money and possible manipulations with its allocation. At the press conference in Sarajevo (26 October), journalist Avdić publicly asked Okerić about the spending of budget funds for the needs of NiP party members. Okerić did not respond to the journalist’s question, but called the journalist Avdić “a slanderer who has been tried many times” and told him that he would talk to him in court.

The BH Journalists´s Sttering Committee reacted with a statement. The last case was registered in the FMHL database.
