For more than a month now, a serious campaign has been going on against the Krik investigative portal.
On more than one occasion during the September, pro-government tabloid media heavily targeted Krik and their editor Stevan Dojčinović, primarily regarding the with the collection of information and data related to the texts they publish.
On September 3rd, the tabloid newspaper Srpski telegrafk published an article under the title “Krik’s special operation, the families of state officials are being attacked”. Investigative journalists of KRIK have been harshly tagged, stating that they send requests to Serbian state institutions that contain the personal data of officials. In this way, the work of Krik was completely misrepresented, and an image was created that. they abuse the personal data of public officials.
On September 25th the newspaper Republika published a text in which they are falsely accused of misusing registration numbers when submitting requests for free access to information of public importance.
