After the deportation of KRIK editor Stevan Dojčinovic from the United Arab Emirates, although the reasons for the deportation remain unknown, some tabloids made certain claims. Tabloid Informer incorrectly claimed that “he was labeled by the UAE authorities as a man who is a threat for a national security”, and tabloid Alo alleged that he was a controversial journalist who “obviously many countries do not want on their territory”. Also, MP of Serbian Progressive Party Vladimir Djukanovic made a statement to Informer that it would not be bad to determine “whether Dojcinovic is a journalist or agent working for certain interest groups.”
