On the official social media account of the Municipality of Indjija, a statement was published stating that IN Media publishes fake news, takes information out of context and fabricates tabloid headlines. The disputed announcement followed as a reaction to the text previously published by IN media.
In that article, the journalists referred to information from the official website of the Municipality of Inđija, and stated that the citizens of the Municipality of Inđija only three times addressed the representatives of the local self-government through System 48. It was also stated (official) that the requests originate from Inđija, while from no one contacted the authorities in the other inhabited places of the municipality.
Reacting to the announcement, IN Media published a text in which it indicated that this is not the first time that the ruling party has used the official social media account of the Municipality of Indjija to attack IN Media. The editorial staff of IN Media reminded that it has been facing such pressures since the beginning of its work, and that the reason for the pressures lies in persistently pointing out the wrong decisions of the local authorities.
