The journalist of the Radio Television of Montenegro, Zoran Lekovic, submitted a report to the Police Administration of Montenegro due to endangering security, insults and exposure to lynching via social networks.

Lekovic announced on his Facebook page that he had filed a criminal complaint against the Instagram group “niksic.zivi” and V.M, because they “exposed him to a public lynching and brutally attacked his professional and personal integrity and tried to endanger his personal and family security.

Since the media published this, the secretary of the Ministry of Health, Nikola Antovic, commented on that journalistic article on one portal. His comment was of an insulting nature, which is why Lekovic also wrote to the Ministry of Health, which distanced itself from Antovic’s statement.

Lekovic also filed a complaint against Antovic with the Security Center (SC) in Podgorica. The prosecutor in the Basic State Prosecutor’s Office in Podgorica was informed about the event and stated that in the mentioned case there are no elements of a criminal offense that is prosecuted ex officio.

SC Podgorica officials filed a request with the Misdemeanor Court to initiate misdemeanor proceedings against both Antovic and Lekovic for mutual insult (violation of the Law on Public Order and Peace – insolent behavior).
