Journalist Mateo Pejaković wrote several critically intoned articles on his portal about Andreja Menđel, head of the Administrative Department for Communal Activities and Management of the City of Požega. After the published articles, Pejaković met Manđel in a bar in Požega and they talked for a few minutes, after which her husband Ivan appeared, verbally clashed with Pejaković and allegedly wanted to grab him by the neck while his wife tried to stop him. According to insiders, Menđel allegedly pointed his finger at the journalist and told him: “You are dead.”
