N1 television cameraman Marjan Vucetic was attacked in the village of Makoivste near Kosjeric while attempting to film the visit of SNS party president Milos Vucevic. Vucetic was struck several times in the back as he entered a tent where Vucevic was present, trying to record the event.
He told the Independent Journalists’ Association of Serbia (NUNS) that while he was filming Mr. Vucevic, an unknown individual approached him from behind and hit him forcefully, right in front of Vucevic. More individuals then joined in.
According to Vucetic they cursed at him, called him a traitor, a foreign mercenary, yellow scum… Also, Vucetic said that the person who initiated the assault is the president of the local community that Vucevic was visiting.
