The President of Montenegro, Jakov Milatović, addressed the journalist of Montenegrin Television, Aleksandra Jovančević, in an inappropriate and rude manner after she asked a question that he did not like, during the conference on September 24th.
Milatović first asked the journalist whether she had watched the promotional video she was asking about. When the journalist responded that she had not, he stated that it was a “ordered question from (RTCG General Director) Raonić” and repeatedly asked, “Is this what we fought for?”
The Trade Union of Media of Montenegro reacted to the incident, but Milatović later apologized stating that his intention was to criticize editorial policy of RTCG, not to attack the journalist.
