Zdravko Gojkovic was arrested on March 22, 2018. after he threatened Jelena Jovanovic, a journalist of that daily, in the editorial office of “Vijesti”. According to the journalist, her colleagues informed her in the morning that Gojkovic called, complaining about the article in which he is mentioned as one of the people who were questioned by the police because of the attack on Nemanja Prelevic. Allegedly, Gojkovic then announced a lawsuit, demanding that the author of the text call him.

After that, he came to the editorial office, around 12 o’clock, and addressed Jovanovic in a raised voice. After the journalist told him that she could not remove the text from the portal, but that he had the right to react or deny the claims from the text, he pushed the newspaper off the table, saying: “I will be different with you, I know how I will” and telling the journalist to beware.

At the end of January 2019, Gojkovic was sentenced to three months in prison by the first-instance verdict of a judge of the Podgorica Basic Court. That decision was confirmed by the High Court at the beginning of April 2019.
