The Western Balkans Journalists’ Safety Index (WB-JSI) is a research-based tool designed to measure and monitor changes in the respective social and political environment of the Western Balkan countries, which have a direct and indirect impact on the safety of journalists and media actors while performing their jobs.
This report refers to the situation in Montenegro in 2021 and represents the improvement or deterioration of the situation in four dimensions, taking into account the estimate from 2020 as a reference.
