During a public event, Prime Minister in technical mandate Dritan Abazović targeted Gradska TV, accusing the local public broadcaster of “spreading religious and national hatred”.
“You are one of those who spread religious and national hatred. Your show was called “Why is Dritan Abazović pushing Montenegro into civil war?” And now you are spending minutes here on religious and national hatred. You have your guests who can explain it to you, and you also have citizens who have told you what they think about your TV,” he said.
During the statement, when the journalist from Gradska TV told Prime Minister Dritan Abazović in his technical mandate that he had been invited several times to be a guest in this media outlet and that he had refused each time, Abazović said that he would not accept guest appearances until the editorial structure was changed.
