SKOPJE, 27.10.2017 – A student meeting under the motto “Media Literate Student” will be held today in front of the University Cyril and Methodius in Skopje, organized by the Macedonian Institute for European Studies (MIES) and the School of Journalism, supported by the European Union.
The meeting aims to “dramatize” the importance of media literacy among students, or how important it is not to be a victim of the media and media manipulations.
Students are expected to speak, which, as the organizers say, will send messages against propaganda, aggressive consumer society, alienation, victims of video games, fake news, aggressive marketing and media chaos.
