On July 6, 2026, a threat was sent to the executive editor and journalist Gordana Andrić and journalist Jelena Veljković on the Instagram account of the BIRN Serbia newsroom.

The message was sent from the zok2807 account, which uses the name Zoran Cvijanović, and its content reads: “Notice, Gordana Andrić and Jelena Veljković were marked by a black hand, friend.”

The threats were reported to the competent Special Public Prosecutor’s Office for VTK.
