In Novi Sad, during reporting from the protest rally on January 17, 2025. in front of the City Hall, journalist Aleksandar Latas, correspondent of Danas, was threatened by a policeman, a member of the Gendarmerie, with arrest if he did not obey him and if he did not remove himself from the place where he and his colleagues were reporting.

The case was not reported to the public prosecutor’s office or the police.
