On April 13, journalist Jelena Jovanović from Vijesti reported that a woman who introduced herself as Milica Ćuk had made a death threat against her due to an article published in the media outlet.

The sister of the expelled Serbian citizen Milovan Ćuk called the Vijesti editorial office, complaining about the article in which he was mentioned by his full name.

She stated that, “if anyone loses their head (because of the article), it will be the head of the author.” She later repeated the threat via email.

The police said that their officers are working on identifying the email user as well as the phone number from which the call was made.
