The Miko Tripalo Center, Human Rights House Zagreb, and Croatian Journalists’ Association are implementing the project Voice of Civil Society for the Rule of Law: A Platform for Promoting and Protecting EU Fundamental Values, through which they strengthen capacities and connect civil society organizations (CSOs) into a joint and more effective Informal Rule of Law Network, the Miko Tripalo Center announced.
The Network uses the European Rule of Law Mechanism as a key tool for advocating change, raising awareness, and promoting institutional accountability. It systematically builds a common voice of the network and a coalition of CSOs, acting as a unified actor in dialogue with national institutions and international bodies, including the European Commission.
Building on a previous successful initiative, the project expands the existing coalition and empowers it to prepare joint contributions to the European Commission, organize public debates, and carry out advocacy activities toward institutions in Croatia. Through education, networking, and structured dialogue, the project enables more effective monitoring and improvement of rule of law standards in Croatia.
