Dragan Šljivovački, member of the Serbian Progressive Party in the Kovin Municipal Assembly, attacked journalist Miloš Ljiljanić after the session ended, while Ljiljanić was waiting for an answer from the President of the Assembly, Sanja Petrović.
Odnornik first hit the journalist with his shoulder and pushed him away while on assignment, and then he tried to snatch the mobile phone from his hand, twisting his arm in the process. No one, not even the President of the Assembly, reacted.
On his professional assignment, Miloš Ljiljanić broadcast the entire course of the parliamentary session via mobile phone, lasting over three hours.
