The editorial office of Južnih Vesti received a threat on its website on January 30, 2024, as part of the comments on the published text. In the header of the e-mail it is written, “you will drink the shooting of a Westerner”.

The threat was reported to the Special Prosecutor’s Office for the VTK in Belgrade.
