Journalist and director of the local public broadcaster Radio Tivat, Tamara Vučinović, was reported to the police by the director of an educational institution in that city, because she did not want to reveal the source of information regarding that school.
The principal first directly tried to find out who from that institution reported the information that the school would not work because of the strike, and since the journalist refused to reveal the source, she reported it to the police.
The police interrogated Vučinović, who defended herself according to the provisions of the Media Act and the Code of Ethics, which guarantee the anonymity of the source of information. Vučinović notes that the police were very fair in their performance and that they did not ask her to disclose the source, but only to make a statement regarding the report.
It is not known how the prosecutor determined himself according to this case.
