On 19 May 2026, SYRI TV journalist Fatjon Gjinaj reported that he was verbally attacked and threatened by former senior public official Agron Tare while reporting outside SPAK in Tirana. According to the journalist and SYRI TV, the incident occurred as Gjinaj was filming Tare leaving SPAK after being questioned by prosecutors. Gjinaj reported that Tare objected to being filmed, used insulting language, and addressed him in a threatening manner, including the phrase “do e shohim” (“we will see”). The alleged incident took place while the journalist was performing his reporting duties on a matter of public interest.
